West London College is a further and higher education college based across four campuses located in Park Royal, Ealing, Hammersmith and Southall. The College provides training and development for over 10,000 students from entry level to postgraduate. West London College is a member of the Collab Group, which represents 35 of the largest and most innovative colleges in the UK.
The four colleges which make up West London College are Hammersmith and Fulham College, Ealing Green College, Park Royal College, and Southall Community College.
Courses:
Are you interested in a career in finance? Their AAT qualifications are accredited by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT). Roles in finance are applicable to every industry, study with them and get a widely recognised qualification for a number of exciting career routes.
Their Applied Science courses engage and inspire by showing you how many contemporary issues require a grasp of fundamental scientific and mathematical ideas. Studying science will broaden your understanding of the world around you and will equip you with the skills needed to approach most matters in a reasoned and analytical manner.
There are three routes you can go down when choosing an Art & Design programme at West London College:
The first is aimed at students who want to go down the Fine Art route. On these courses you will focus on tradition art techniques, such as drawing, painting, sculpture as well as some digital activities.
The second is for students interested in Graphic Design. You will develop skills in typography, packaging, mixed media, magazine design, advertising and storyboards, using a mix of traditional art mediums and the latest Adobe design software, including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
The third route is for students who want to pursue Interactive Media. These courses combine digital technology with traditional art techniques. You will produce creative work in areas such as animation, illustration, interactive media and video work.

The college will ensure you acquire relevant skills by working closely with employers to develop industry-tailored programmes. You will learn how organisations operate and what makes a business successful, focusing on areas such as retail, finance, accounting, communication, marketing and administration. We also offer the opportunity to explore starting your own business and gaining the competences required to succeed as an entrepreneur.
They offer a range of industry standard courses to help you start your career in childcare. By gaining the right qualification and practical experience, you secure the best chance of many years of employment. The College’s teaching staff will make sure you receive the encouragement and tools to be the best in your field.
Their courses cover software development, web design and IT software. You will develop applications across a range of platforms, build websites incorporating elements of the CIW programme, and develop a comprehensive understanding of networking and IT support using Cisco hardware in our labs. All study programmes will include modules such as Word and Excel to gain the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) qualification as well.
Based at our Ealing Green College near the world famous Ealing Studios, future directors, television producers and media stars develop both practical and theoretical cutting edge media skills.

The hair and barbering industry is a rapidly growing creative sector and our courses focus on developing the relevant specialist and professional skills for a successful career.
The College is known for giving students high quality work placements and for opening up recruitment opportunities with a range of employers, including the NHS. They use their extensive contacts with companies to ensure our courses equip students with the skills needed to progress in health and social care careers.
At Hammersmith and Fulham College, they have a 120 seat training restaurant, expert teaching staff and industry standard kitchens which are often used as filming locations for popular food shows such as Jamie’s Kitchen, Hell’s Kitchen and The Apprentice. As part of their work experience, their students have had the opportunity to work at Dorset Hotel, Radisson Blu Hotel Heathrow, BAFTA Piccadilly, Regent’s University London, Brilliant Restaurant and RAC Club.
They also offer courses giving you the full range of make-up and beauty therapy skills combined with hairdressing and barbering, enabling you to create a total look for your clients. These courses also broaden your portfolio of accomplishments, giving you a broader range to launch your career from.
Their courses cover key theoretical and practical sports-related subjects across multiple disciplines, such as fitness testing, lifestyle, sports nutrition, sports psychology, and anatomy and physiology. We also offer short courses for adults, such as industry-recognised personal training and fitness instruction qualifications.
On a Sports Academy programme you will receive a minimum of 10 hours training per week from experienced coaches, as if you are part of a semi-professional club. With the College’s affiliations with local and national clubs, you will have exposure to physios, coaches and other industry professionals. You will have have exclusive access to our private strengthening and conditioning gym.

They have great links to employers and many of their students go on to find work in the airline industry, including at British Airways, Emirates Airlines, Heathrow Terminals 3 and 5 and Swissport, with whom they have an Academy Partnership.
Apprenticeships are open to anybody aged 16 or over. They cover a huge range of subjects and support the first steps of your career. If you are already employed, apprenticeships can be used to develop your career.
