Royal Academy of Dramatic Art
The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) offers vocational training for actors, stage managers, designers and technical stagecraft specialists. They pride themselves on the exceptional standard of their facilities, teaching and productions, and the personalisation of their training tailored to the needs of each student.
They seek to train the most talented individuals. They have an impressive track record of graduate employment in theatre, film, television and radio, as award-winners and leaders in their fields: actors, directors, writers, producers, lighting, sound and costume designers, prop makers, scenic artists, stage managers, production managers, and many others.
Are you looking for two years of comprehensive training to ground you in all areas of the production arts? If you are a creative, hands-on individual with a passion for the arts and looking to pursue a successful career within theatre, film and television, live events or production, this course is for you.
Are you looking to deepen your specialist knowledge to a BA (Hons) degree level within the production arts? Our BA is only available to those who have completed our FdA in Technical Theatre and Stage Management or equivalent course elsewhere.
Do you want to unlock your creative potential? Their three-year course offers exceptional, in-depth training to equip you with the knowledge and insight for a career in the performing arts.
Do you like working on performances and bringing characters to life through costume-making, wardrobe and styling? Their two-year course provides practical training and experience within a theatre environment for those who want to pursue a costume maker or supervisor career.
RADA’s MA Theatre Lab extends an actor’s training and creative development, re-addressing acting as an embodied and exploratory art form at the heart of the theatre-making process.
This highly distinctive MA course, run as a partnership between Birkbeck and RADA until July 2022, brings together cutting-edge practice and scholarship in theatre and performance.
For Undergraduate students, UK fees are £9,250 per year and International fees are £21,710 per year.
