BIMM Institute opens the doors to the music industry. They encourage creative freedom, provide real-world industry experiences and build a community across our eight colleges in the UK, Ireland and Germany.

Students are given access to unrivalled industry connections, experienced lecturers who live and breathe the world of music and the chance to choose from specialist courses such as Songwriting, Electronic Music Production and Music Business – as well as joint honours degrees like Music Performance with Music Production.

Courses:

Guitar

The role of the guitar player is a versatile one, making it one of the most exciting instruments to excel at. And at BIMM Institute, you’ll transform your passion into something you can do every day of your life.

Bass

Choose from their two-year diploma or three-year degree and experience what life as a professional bassist is like from day one. You’ll collaborate with like-minded individuals, be taught by world-class lecturers and have the chance to perform onstage at the world’s biggest festivals, such as Glastonbury and 2000trees.

Drums

Whether you choose to study their diploma or undergraduate degree, you’ll be taught by industry icons who will impart their wisdom and knowledge onto you. And, their Drums courses have been designed with the industry, for the industry. This means you’ll graduate with the know-how, contacts and skills needed to make your name in the business.

Vocals

If you’re thinking about studying a Vocals Course, BIMM Institute is the place to be. This is where extraordinary vocalists are made – with the help of their world-class lecturers, inspiring Masterclasses and unmatched opportunities.

Keyboards

Songwriting

Music Marketing, Media & Communication

Are you full of opinions? A social media connoisseur? Or perhaps you have an eye for design? Then BIMM Institute’s new Music Marketing, Media and Communication degree is right for you. Over the course of three years, you’ll expand, develop, and refine your writing, design, and creative skills through a balanced mix of theoretical and practical tasks.

Event Management

Promoters within the live music industry have never been in such demand. Festivals and tours are becoming an increasingly important source of revenue for bands and artists. They’re also a vital tool for building a fan base. Just see our alumni like Arthur Blanc, Patrick McNaught and Napsugár Bardócz who have walked through their doors and into the events industry.

Fees:

All BIMM three-year undergraduate degree courses are priced at £9,250 for UK students.

Student finance is available to eligible students for all BIMM undergraduate degree courses. Tuition Fee Loans will cover the full course fee and Maintenance Loans are available to eligible UK students to help with living costs while studying.
